Butchers Fined For Overcharging
For selling a quantity of meat over the authorised price Vernon Timbs, butcher, Whakatane, was fined £3, costs £2 14s, by Mr E. L. Walton, S.M., in the Whakatane Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday. N. E Rigden and Company Ltd., butchers, also of Whakatane, appeared on a similar charge and were fined £3, costs £2 12s.
