P. & T. Cricket Club Holds Annual Smoko

Special trophies for members were presented at the annual smoko of the P. and T. Cricket Club held at Whakatane recently. There was ’ a good attendance which made the evening an outstanding success. Trophies presented :-r~ Most catches for season, J. Rivett '*l2); most ducks for season, S. Sbap’ley (5); first century for season, J. Rivett; most improved all- - rounder, P. Seebeck; best bowling average, J. Rivett (4.25 runs). Trophies were donated by Messrs Bridger, Taylor, Stringer, Shapley and Mrs J. D. Rivett.
