Address To Rotary

An address on the women’s organisations of the world, their work and other activities was given by Mrs K. Stewart, Hillcrest, to the Whakatane Rotary Club this week. Mrs Stewart explained how similar to the ideals of Rotary were those of the Women’s Institutes and such organisations. Evidently impressed by the address one of the Rotarians suggested that Rotary and the women’s organisations should combine as their activities were so similar. This was laughingly supported by other Rotarians.
