Taneatua Y.F.C. Has Successful Year

The club team gained a second, fourth and fifth places in the interclub stock judging competition it was revealed at the annual meeting of the Taneatua Young Farmers’ Club. Together the club won the team competition, being 44 points ahead of the nearest club. The club was also successful for the second year in succession in winning the relay at the New Year’s sports at Ohope. Officers elected:— Chairman, Mr J. B. O’Brien; vicechairman, Mr G. A. Hill; secretary, Mr J. Downes; treasurer, Mr G. O’Brien; correspondent, Mr E. R. Hill; senior advisory member, Mr G. R. Yeoman; advisory members, Messrs A. Wardlaw, G. Santon, N. Reid; gun committee, Messrs Yeoman, J. O’Brien, Downes, G. O’Brien, G. A. Hill, E. R, Hill; delegates to district committee, Messrs Yeoman, J. B. O’Brien, Downes.
