Mr K. G. Collins, manager of the new Bay of Plenty Station IYZ has received a large number of. letters congratulating the station on the excelent performance during tests on Sunday, April 24. They were from every province in the Dominion, excluding Westland.- An Invercargill enthusiast wrote: “I heard the whole broadcast, reception was perfect. In the three hours during which I listened, there was not the slightest fading.”
