Immigrants to New Zealand must be deserving of the heritage that had been built up by Dominion servicemen, said Mr D. W. Russell at a meeting of the executive of the Christchurch R.S.A. when he criticised the selection of Governmentassisted settlers. His motion that the Dominion headquarters of the association be asked to approach the Government with a view to being represented on any body selecting immigrants to enter the country was carried.
