GOOD SCORES AT INDOOR SHOOT A successful shoot was held by the Whakatane Legion of Frontiersmen Miniature Rifle Club at the Winter Show Buildings, Whakatane, last week when some very good targets were scored. Whittaker 21, 20, 41; R., Rawson 18, 22, 40; W. Hume 21, 16, 37; A. Bradsha\V 18, 17, 35; B. Hume 16, 18, 34; L. E. Stewart 17, 16, 33; P. Stewart 17, 15, 32; R. Biggins 15, 16, 31. Junior Section: B. S. Needham 20, 20, 40; A. Bathe 21, 17, 38; L. Armstrong 16, 19, 35; Y. Zinsli 17, 18, 35.
C. Bathe won the trophy, and L. Armstrong won the Junior’s Pennant on handicap. The club still has vacancies for a few more memr bers and will be shooting again on Thursday week.
