Clay Bird Shooting
V. TIMES RETAINS MATCHITT CUF At the County Rod and Gun Club shoot on Sunday, there was a fair attendance of shooters. Weather was fine, although a cross wind affected shooting which, however, was of a high standard in most events. The Mrs Matchitt Cup was again won by V. Timbs (holder) who thus won the Cup outright.
Timbs shot very well all day and in the C. A. Timbs Memorial Pigeon even tied with A. Wansbone of Te Puke but lost in the shoot-off after an excellent contest. The J. D.
