Results:— Women: A grade, Richmond 1 v Matata 1, Paroa 3 v Rovers 2, Te Teko 2 v Huimai 0, Taneatua 3 v Wairaka 0, Paroa a bye; B grade, Te Teko 2 v Huimai 0, Poroporo 2 v Rangers 1, Awakeri beat Paroa by default. Men: A grade, Richmond 5 v Matata 2, Poroporo 2 v Rovers 1, Riverslea 3 v Huimai 0, Wairaka 4 v Taneatua 0, Awakeri a bye; B grade, Te Teko beat Taneatua by default, Poroporo 2 v Rangers 1, Awakeri beat Paroa by default. TANEATUA BEAT WAIRAKA Taneatua defeated Wairaka by 3 to nil in a women’s hockey match. Scorers: Milly Tuhora 2, Betty O’Brien 1. Taneatua men were defeated by Wairaka 3 nil.
