Big Circus Coming To Whakatane

Soon Whakatane is to be visited Toy Barton’s International Circus—.' •one of the really big shows. Mr Merv. Cook, publicity manager for the circus, called over the weekend and seemed really worked up over the coming visit. And the enthusiasm was not just -a spot of pressure selling, if reports from other centres are accurate. •Some of our most decorous newspapers have gone quite lyrical about this particular show. It seems the programme has a variety and zest quite above the average, and Mr Cook says it is coming here •complete, acrobats, buck-jumpers, clowns, wild animals and all.
