The music of Tchaikovsky is featured right through “Song Of My Heart” and includes excerpts from his Fourth, Fifth and Sixth Symphonies; Piano Concerto No. 1 in BFlat Minor; the Swan Lake and Nutcracker ballets; Capriccio Italien; Overture 1812; Marche Slave; Romeo and Juliet Fantasy; Andante
Cantabile and the barcarolle, June. Based on Tchaikovsky themes, “I Looked For Love” and “Someone” two new songs have been specially arranged for the film. EGYPTIANS LIKED ‘HAMLET’ Readers of “Akher Saa,” one of Egypt’s most important magazines, selected “Hamlet” as their favourite foreign film and Laurence Olivier as their' favourite foreign actor in a recent poll. “Hamlet’s” popularity far exceeded that of any other film. Second and third places went to “Green Dolphin Street” and “Forever Amber.” After Olivier, favourite stars were Tyrone Power and Spencer Tracy.
