Tilers Roofing State Mouses

Tilers have started work bn roofing the State houses in the new block in Stewart Street, Whakatane, and the first house will probably be completed this week. Carpenters are proceed-

ing constructing the frames of

the remainder of the 12 houses § in this block, ready for tiling so that the tilers may continue with the roofing of all buildings v without interruption.

When all the framework has been completed the carpenters will start the inside of the buildings ami it is expected that most houses will be ready for occupation all about the same time.
