Voting Commences In British Film Award

Voting in the annual film award has now commenced at eyery cinema in Great Britain, and again there is keen competition to get into the top bracket.

By the rules of the competition the two stars who figured so prominently last year will not be eligible. The most disappointed is Margaret Lockwood, who last year completed her hat-trick by winning the female award for the third year in succession. John Mills, who triumphed over James Mason in last year’s award, is also ineligible, so we shall see some new names at the head of the polling this year.
