The Hon W. Lee Martin, Member of the Legislative Council, and Mrs Martin, Hamilton, will spend next Thursday night at Whakatane during a trip to Gisborne.
Mr K. G. Collins, a senior technician of the National Broadcasting
Service, station 2YA Wellington, has been appointed station manager of the new Bay of Plenty broadcasting station, IYZ Rotorua, which is to
be opened officially next month. Mr Collins will be familiar to most listeners as he does all the parliamentary relays and all the announcing from the House.
