M.U.1.0.0.F. Lodge
At a recent meeting of the M.U.1.0.0.F. Lodge at Whakatane Bro. Atkinson Jnr. presided over a good attendance. Financial Secretry P.G. Bro. A. W. Jones notified ■members of slight alterations to some of the rules, also of penalties imposed on Past Grands taking of'fice in a Ritual Contest.
A refund is now available from the District Hospital Fund to members who have to be treated by a specialist.. N.G. welcomed back to the Lodge V.G. Bro. Wiggins and P.G. Bro. Hume, who have both been on the sick list. The remainder of the evening was spent playing bowls. The M.U.1.0.0.F. P.G. Lodge met recently with P.G. Bro. J. Harris presiding. Group Officer P.G. Bro. H. Quayle was presented with a Past President’s Jewel.
