Young Farmers' Debate

Is feeding more important than breeding in the improvement of dairy stock? That was the title of a debate between Wainui and Taneatua young farmers at Taneatua on Thursday night. Bringing forward a more convincing argument Wainui scored 329 points to Taneatua’s 312 and one of their members, M. Burke, was judged by the adjudicator, Mr i. B. Hubbard, Whakatane, to be the best speaker. The teams were:— Wainui: M. Burke, G. Rickleman, R. Sax. Taneatua: J. O’Brien, G. Hill, R. Hill.
