Mrs Leo Anderson returned last week from her journey to Wellington. ■ Miss Phillippa Winstone, who left New Zealand in October last, en route' to England, has ' sent a cable to her parents, Mr and Mrs A. W. Winstone, of Whakatane, announcing her safe arrival at Southampton. Miss Anne- Carwardine, formerly Theatre Sister at the Whakatane Hospital, travelled with Miss Winstone.
