The “Michigan Kid" Story
Jon Hall,, in his first screen appearance, since his discharge from ( the army, plays the title role in the Universal film, “Michigan Kid.” Hall is aptly cast as an 1879 discharged veteran in the romantic action story, photographed in Cinecolour. The Michigan Kid’s post-war adjustment problems pale those of the present day discharges, according j to the Rex Beech novel from which the picture was taken. Back home from service as a cavalryman in the Sioux wars, the Kid seeks peace and quiet, only to be plunged headlong into the genesis of a frontier underworld.
