FITNESS CERTIFICATES
Previous to the passing of Amendment No. 4 of the Transport Licensing (Goods Service) Regulations 1936, all vehicles had to carry a warrant of fitness, while certificates of fitness had to be carried by goods and passenger services vehicles. The regulations now provide that all goods services vehicles weighing with maximum loads over 2 tons must carry certificates of fitness. This only affects farmers trucks to the extent that such .trucks used to cart neighbours’ produce to the factory are liable, all others still being exempt from certificates of fitness provisions. ■,% -
