M.U.1.0.0.F. Lodge Meeting
The fortnightly meeting of M.U.1.0.0.F. Lodge, Whakatane, took place last week in the Parish Hall. N.G. Bro. Atkinson (Jnr) presided over a good attendance. Included in the business were suggestions for the Lodge’s birthday, which members hope to hold next month. Fraternal greetings were conveyed through the sick visitor, to V.G. Bro. A. W. G. Wiggins who is in hospital as the result of the shooting tragedy. After supper, members spent the remainder of the evening playing bowls.
