Funds Raised For Plunket Society

A pleasant afternoon tennis party was held recently at the home pf Mr and Mrs A. R. Knights, Whakatane, to raise funds for the Plunket Society. There was a good crowd and the day resulted in a fair profit for the society. Those present were: Mesdames Tyson, Morpeth, Cantrell, Ross, D. ;v Allen, Roach, O’Rourke, Duthie, Jessop, Bryers, Bridger, Morice, Fer- > j guson, Green, Metcalfe, Hocken, \ Misses Low, Cairns, McDiarmid, Murray, Cantrell, Morice, French. Results:— * - Men: A. Knights 1, wooden spoon Hogan: Women: Miss Cantrell 1, wooden spoon Mrs Cantrell.
