Winter Show Still Goes On This Year

Meeting last evening the executive of the Winter Show Association accepted the resignation of the secretary, Mr T. H. Morgan, with expressions of extreme regret. Mr Morgan signified his willingness to help the Association to the limit within his power but explained that pressure of business made it impossible'for him to carry on the secretarial duties and do them full justice. The Association is advertising fora new secretary. Quite definitely the 1949 show is to go on, and it was reported that the new power plant is on an English wharf awaiting shipment.

Regarding public conveniences at jthe show building, the executive decided to invite the Health Inspector to confer with its members immediately.
