Councillor Sullivan Welcomed Back
A welcome back to Whakatane -was accorded Cr W. Sullivan by the mayor, Mr B. S. Barry, and other • councillors at Monday night’s meeting of the Whakatane Borough ' Council. Mr Barry said he knew Mr Sullivan brought back knowledge which would be of undoubted benefit to the town.
Cr Sullivan, thanking councillors, :said he was glad to be back home again. He had however, one regret, and that was in finding the seat of the late Cr J. Creeke empty.
