P. and T. emerged winners from, the Whakatane Cricket Association’s Clarke Shield competition, with 28 points, Edgecumbe 24, Taneatua 16, and Te Teko 4 followed in that order.
Representative Team To Play Rotorua
Following is the team which has been selected to represent the Whakatane Cricket Association against Rotorua at Rotorua on Sunday: W. McCready (Capt), B. McGougan, L. Thurlow, I. Campbell, K. Tunnicliffe, J. Rivett, F. Whitcher, C. Gillam, S. Shapley, T. Lyons, T. Were. Reserved, R. Patterson and E. Malaquin.
Transport leaves Whakatane ; at 7.45 a.m. and Te Teko at 8.30 a.ih. Any playefs unable to travel should let the Association’s secretary know immediately.
