The Sneezing Tree Of Africa

Of the many curious trees in the world, one of the most remarkable, is the Sneezing Tree, which grows in South Africa. No v one cgn stand for very long near a tree’of this kind without sneezing. This is caused by a certain oil in the tree.' As insects will not attack the tree, the wood is valuable for making furniture in the tropics where woodborers are so destructive, but men work on it under great difficulty, even when the nose and mouth are covered.
