Jack August admitted three thefts of cash, £l, £2 and £l, from Mrs Maude Hayward’s home at Taneatua in August, September and October. Constable Julian said he had paid back all the money, was in steady 'work with an employer who wanted him back. August, admitted to probation for six months, was ordered to pay Court costs, 30/-.
