Walton, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiffs by default in the following civil claims: Brabant Bros, v W. R. Whiteside 7/6, costs 16/-; Magnus Lennie v A. J. Hughes £l4/2/9 and costs £2/14/-. Judgment summons order: Pipi Schooner to pay Ratanji Dahya £l3/19/5 in default 14 days’ gaol. District Publicity Booklet “A sub-committee under the direction of Mr C. Kingsley-Smith has made good progress with the production of a booklet advertising the Borough and County/ Despite numerous difficulties, a very handr some volume should be for sale throughout the district before Christmas. In this connection I wish to .pay a tribute to the splendid work done by Mr Kingsley-Smith in producing the booklet and Mr N. Matthews for supplying the photos. I also wish to thank those members who have shared in guaranteeing the necessary finance,” writes Mr R. T.
