St. Andrews Nicht

The Caledonian Hall presented a gay scene with colours of the Opotiki and Whakatane Pipe Band members in their tartans of Boyal Stewart and Grant, on Tuesday evening to celebrate St Andrew’s day. A very enjoyable evening was spent by the Opotiki visitors ' and local residents. The programme consisted namely of Scottish dances, music by the Pipe Band and King’s orchestra from Waimana. Items by local Highland dancers and songs by visiting artists were greatly appreciated. The hall was packed and the evening was a credit to the executive.
