Final Ohope Card Evening
The conclusion for 1948 of the popular weekly 500 evenings held by the Ohope Progress League in the Hostel diningroom was marked this week by a pleasant little function. Mr and Mrs L. Coker, the Hostel host and hostess, and Mr and Mrs Harris, who so ably managed the gatherings during the season, were thanked for their good services and presented with mementoes of the occasion. The points prizes were won by Mrs J. Stevenson and Mr J. Reynolds.
