Justice For Negro

“The Intruders,” timely and powerful story of an innocent ' negro saved from certain lynching by a boy and an elderly spinster—both white—is a Metro-Goldwyn-iMayer picture scheduled for production soon. It is adapted from the novel by William Faulkner to be published in the near future by Random House. ClaudeJarman Jnr. who won an Academy Award for his performance in “The Yearling” will portray the Mississippi boy whose belief that the Negro is not guilty of a murder leads to justice. Through this experience the boy learns an invaluable lesson on the nature of prejudices and the meaning of freedom.
