Successful Church Bazaar At Waimana
The bazaar held recently in Waimana for Anglican Church funds, was a huge success in every way. The various stalls were laden with a great variety of goods for sale, members of the Guild having made numerous frocks, aprons and other articles at meetings held in the past year.
During the afternoon Mrs Woolfield thanked all for their great help during the year and during the sale of goods. She also thanked all donors for gifts for competitions' After afternoon tea, Mrs Woolfield called on the Rev. Liggett and Mrs Liggett to come forward, and in a neat speech on behalf of guild members, asked them to accept a small gift in appreciation of their great help to all during the past years.
Rev. and Mrs Liggett both suitably replied, saying how they have had a very happy and pleasant time in the Parish and would very much like to stay on at Opotiki. They wished everyone happy years to come, and invited all to call for a cup of tea whenever passing through Cambridge.
