State Houses Ready

Two .State houses at Whakatane are expected to be ready for allocation today and a third should be completed sometime this week, the builders told the Beacon yesterday. All are tworoomed homes. No information is yet available as to whom the tenants are to be. The remainder of the State houses in the course of construction have been completed by the carpenters but have yet to be wired and painted. They are expected to be ready for occupation either just before Christmas or early in the New Year.
