Mr W. Sullivan, M.P., at Bermuda just now, returns to London on December 4. He sails for home in the Dominion. Monarch on December 16 and expects to be back at Whakatane on January 21. Miss J. Fitzgerald, Whakatane, left for Auckland on Monday and flies from there to Ashburton, wher# she will spend her annual holiday. Mrs E. W. Bryenton, of Whakatane, left on Monday for Auckland, and will be flying South today -to attend the Sydenham School’s 75th anniversary.

Miss E. Hadfield, who has been Junior Red Cross Director since 1946, has resigned. In accepting her resignation, the N.Z/ Red Cross executive, at its quarterly meeting last week, expressed appreciation of her work.
