Williams Cup Cricket
The first Williams Cup challenge match will be played during the week-end, when the Pirates Club of Rotorua will visit Whakatane to play United (holders) at the Showgrounds on Sunday, Following is the United team: N. Rigden, L. R. Spring, P. Comiskey, N. Carter, W. McKenzie, M. Le Pine, D. Carling, E. Chamberlain, G. Howard, W. Crawford, B. Palmer. G. Brassey 12th man. All players are to be at the payilion at 9 a.m.
