Scout Gathering At Thornton
Mr A. Adams, Thornton, made one of his paddocks available to the Scouts and related organisations and of .the general public to share in nearly two hours’ fun. Most impressive turn of the evening was the Scouts’ fire-fighting display, when the boys set fire to a hut which had been built for the purpose, and suppressed the “outbreak” with fire extinguishers from the Hall. '.
