Edgecumbe Scouts

At the monthly meeting of the Edgecumbe Scout Committee at the school on Monday evening, Mr H. Andersen was in the chair. Also present were Messrs H. Woollett, J. Vickery, Peters and Mesdames Malpas (secretary) and Plank. Apologies were received from Messrs T. Conway and C, Plank. Edgecumbe, in common with other centres is experiencing great difficulty in obtaining scouters to carry on the work of training , the young boys in the ideals of scouting. It was decided to give the Cubs and Scouts a party to be held early in December when the boys will have the opportunity of farewelling their popular scoutmaster, Mr P. Fraser, who is leaving the district.
