Concern Felt At Shortage Of Meatmeal For Pigs
Concern that it was impossible to obtain meatmeal for'pigs was expressed by Mr J. A. Boulcott, Rangitaiki, at a meeting of the executive of the Bay of Plenty Federated Farmers at Matata recently. He stated that the scarcity of the meal was causing concern to pig producers. He had heard from some sources that the pig food was being used by market gardeners as manure, and others had said that it was being exported to the United States. He wished to know the true position.
