Milking To Music

Asked at Whakatane on Monday night whether the presence of a radio in a cowshed would be any advantage in milking, Dr. W. E. /Petersen, Professor of Dairy Husbandry in America, said he had not as yet carried out experiments to find out. He thought that when the cow had adjusted itself to the sound of the radio it would not be likely to be disturbed by other noises. "However, I suggest that when milking, music of ay ast tempo be played," he amid laughter.
