Dominion Wide Tests For Faulty Brakes

Commencing on Monday, the Transport Department is to hold a Dominion-wide drive to check motor vehicles for faulty brakes. This information has been given in a statement by the Minister of Transport, Mr Hackett. The Minister went on to say that officers of the Transport Department would be on the job all over New Zealand with the latest scientific brake testing apparatus. The drive would continue until it "&as felt*that all parts of the country had been adequately covered.
