Kaingaroa Timber Output May Treble
Output of pine timber from the Kaingaroa State Forest mill should be almost trebled when mill extensions now under way are completed. At present the mill is cutting about 17,000 super feet a day. With the addition of new machinery and handling equipment included in the extension project, production will be in the vicinity of 45,000 super feet daily. No timber from the Kaingaroa mill is exported, its use being for construction work within the Dominion.
