A. special meeting of the Edgecumbe Labour Party executive and -Social committee Was held recently '-to make arrangements for the forthcoming dance. All members showed a keen interest in- the business of "the meeting and a lively discussion ‘took place. Mr Davies kindly consented to be Master of Ceremonies, -and Mrs Jespersen to take charge .of the supper room arrangements. "It was decided to canvass the ladies •of the Party once again, for the • usual help with the catering. After a vote of thanks had been ♦ extended to Mr T. 'G.
