Edgecombe Bazaar
A “Bazaar Afternoon” was held recently at the Presbyterian. Church Hall, Edgecumbe. In the absence of MrS Walter Gow, Mrs Armstrong presided over the meeting, at which arrangements for the forthcoming bazaar were finalised. Mrs Armstrong obliged with two solos which were'very much appreciated by those present. An amusing competition followed, won by Mrs McCorkindale. Flower competition results: Floral trough: Mrs Hepburn; bowl of flowers: Mrs Wilson. 5
