Special Anniversary Drive Planned For Health Stamp Sales

To celebrate the twentieth anniversary df the sale of health stamps, a special drive to sell stamps of the 1948-49 issue is to' be made in New Zealand this year. The campaign will open on October 1, and it is hoped that the issue will be sold out by the end of the year. Any remaining will be on sale till the end of January. This year’s stamps show a boy sitting in a window at a health camp, watching children at play. The ljd has a green frame with a blue centre, and the 3d a red frame and brown centre.

Last year the total sales amounted to £IIO,OOO, of which the health camps benefited to the extent of £30,000. With a more extensive campaign this year it is hoped that a new record will be established.
