At yesterday’s meeting of the Bay of Plenty Hospital Board, the matron, Miss K. Miller, acknowledged' the following gifts to the District. Hospital: Lemons, Mesdames Orr, McCormick and A. 'Nicol snr., A Friend, Otakiri Red Cross and Matata Women’s Institute; cakes,. Matata W. 1.; flowers, Mesdames G. Francis, D. T. Allan and A. Nicol snr., Mr Sladden, Matata W. 1.; books Mrs Le Lievre; magazines, Mesdames Ricketts, Combes, Dunderdale, Miss J. Hooper, Whakatane and Matata W.L’s; linen, Mrs Le Lievre; music, Whakatane Pipe Band.
