Nurses’ Christian Union
Last week’s Nurses’ Christian Union get-together went with a swing, providing good, clean entertainment which was thoroughly enjoyed by all hands. Following the opening prayers, a community sing and musical quiz created the right atmosphere, and the items were all well received. Entertainers were: Mrs F. J. Climo, solo accompanied by Miss ' Kenyon; Miss Armstrong, recitation; Mr Dodds, solo accompanied by Mrs Dodds; Mr Addison, conjuring tricks; Miss J. McLaughlin, a solo.
