Outsize In Eggs

Another outsize fowl’s egg has been reported, this time from Opotiki. Mr Colin Carruthers the other morning brought into the News Office an egg laid by an Australorp hen. The egg measured 6in in circumference and was 4 inches long. The weight was exactly 4oz. Some time ago Mr- Carruthers discovered when about to eat another, egg that it contained a perfectly formed egg including shell, inside it.
