Thermal Heating Test
An initial installation scheme for heating 20 houses in Rotorua at an aproximate cost of £960, using water from thermal sources, presented by Mr R. W. Foster, an engineer of the Department of Industrial and Scientific Research, at Auckland, was received on Monday night at a meeting of the Rotorua Thermal Utilisation Committee. The estimated annual cost for each house is £B. The committee approved of the scheme submitted, and decided ,l o inform the residents of the block of the details, including the estimated operational costs.
