Ohope Women’s Institute
The monthly meeting of the Ohope Women’s Institute was held in the Captain’s Cabin on Thursday. A demonstration by Mrs Sorensen of wreath making greatly interested the members. Members have now collected sufficient goods to make up a food parcel for Britain. This will be sent as soon as possible. The competition prize was won by Mrs Kier for the best vase of spring flowers. Mrs Dickson presided over the bring and buy sale.
