The Bear Departed
There must be many now who believe that the “Dinkum Oil” is just a memory, * outside of the nightly five-thirty bottle, but a wooden box standing on the footpath in the Strand on Friday seemed to belie this belief. Believe it or not, there were gin bottles and even a real whisky bottle therein, and many a passer-by was seen to look long, ugly in, sigh and walk away.
