Gifts To Hospital

Comber, Mrs Coombes, Mrs Furze, Mr Bowering, Mrs Wallenm, Mrs J. Francis, Mr Good, Mrs Newdick and the Awaken Red Cross; books from Mrs Buddie, Mr S. Armstrong, Mr and Mrs S. Cannell and comics from Colin Morpeth; flowers from the Whakatane W. 1., Mrs Beattie and the Rangitaiki Presbyterian Church, Mrs Kennon, Mrs lan Gow, and the Awakeri Red Cross; lemons from Mrs Furze an ex-patient, Mr and Mrs J. Neilson, and Mrs H. Kennon; apples from Mrs Addison, Mr and Mrs J. Neilson, and Mr McGougan; fruit and jam from the Rangitaiki Presbyterian Church and cakes from Mr Bell

These have been acknowledged by the Matron, Miss K. Miller, who has also expressed appreciation of a visit to the Hospital by the Caledonian Society’s Pipe Band.
